kintsugi flower platter

this plate broke during the bisque and glaze firing. it has been repaired and decorated with the japanese technique of 'kintsugi'.

a few notes:

  • unfortunately, this piece isn't friends with hot foods or the dishwasher. handwash is recommended, and it is still perfect for serving cakes or cheese.
  • there are marks from the kiln firing on the back of the plate, but it is still 100% functional.
